Background Information: Wiki link here

Personality: Loona's early childhood in the orphanage - something she doesn't discuss - may have helped shape the seemingly nihilistic, uncaring woman she grew to be thanks to what had to be a literally hellish social system. Throughout the series, Loona is seen spending most of her days doomscrolling on her phone, drinking or distressing her coworkers without remorse, all while on the clock.

Living in Hell certainly shapes a person differently, but Loona's apathy is far beyond numbing herself to the sin and sinners all around her: lashing out with the same lack of empathy at her colleagues as she does kicking a mothers' stroller across the street - baby included - and moving on to the next outlet for any slight against her.

She even seems to resent Blitzø for adopting her, yelling at the top of her lungs that she would rather have waited until she was 18 to be out of the system and on her own than to have been adopted at all.

She claims she doesn't need him. Yet she still stays regardless and it's more than just feeling as if she 'owes' Blitzø for adopting her.

It might not be until Loona is sure no-one is looking, but in those moments when she truly does hurt her fathers feelings her mask does crack with the signs of regret that even she knows she went too far. Whether showing gratitude in Hell could be weakness, there is at least a piece of her deep down that does care; that takes selfies on her Instagram with him; who goes on trips to the mall and switching fashions; who watches movies she hates just because Blitzø wants to spend time with her; and who will show even a smile when Blitzø declares firmly and truly that Loona is family, and that they 'don't get rid of family'.

The Loona who tries to hide behind computer screens and social media feeds is deep down a woman who feels alone, pulled away from others of her kind - often referred dismissively by her Imp colleagues as 'their hellhound' - she stumbles over her own words when finally given the chance to connect to another lycan, completely unused to social connection, freely admitting she has no friends.

Yet when push comes to shove to her coworkers she is more than capable of protecting them. It may take the most extreme of moments to see Loona dare express any familial protectiveness to her adopted pack - hanging up once in the past on Millie's tearful plea for help - is the same hellhound who would wade through scores of suited henchmen and demon hunters corpses to get back Blitzø and even Moxxie, the most unfairly chosen of her tormentees.

At her core Loona feels like a lost child, not knowing how to express herself and instead lashing out wherever she feels she can get away with it. The best approach in her mind is to feign indifference, and snap at whoever crosses her physical or emotional boundaries with a show of her fangs or her just as sharp wit. Constantly testing boundaries, acting selfishly with no regard and yet unsatisfied every time, Loona is simply unable to admit the truth that they may be the only ones in Hell she can count on or call close to her.

Perhaps Loona's biggest fear is that the rut she has dug into has now become too comfortable, that life is nothing more than just making it through the day or distracting herself from her job with binging content online or simply binging to excess.

The biggest challenges Loona face are the walls she has built around herself, the persona she has crafted over years of neglect and fear of abandonment to say to the world it can't hurt her because she doesn't give a fuck can't be the same Loona who can have the things she sees in her other coworkers when they openly show their love or comradery for each other. Whether or not she can ever move beyond the hellhound she shows on the outside is something even she is uncertain of.

Abilities & Inventory: As a Hellhound, Loona possesses superior strength and agility that follows her lupine heritage, vicious of claw, tooth and tongue to bite someone's head off figuratively or literally. She shows a great proficiency in weapons from blades to guns but rarely has to rely on them.

Along with strengths, she possesses heightened senses of hearing and smell, along with a strangely latent ability to identify sinners that even she doesn't fully understand. She mostly just regards everyone else as being disappointing and will be very fickle in finding those she gives her time to openly.

She is notably the only member of IMP who shows any talent for magic, boasting a human disguise she can shift into as well as having read and studied the grimorium the agency uses to access the human world, she has at least a basic ability and understanding of these arcane forces.

Her inventory however is very limited, simply to her cell phone and whatever coins or lint were on her person when she entered the realm. But even without a signal, she still clings to her treasured phone and tries to keep it running to go through its contents over and over.

I've considered a Dreamotion ability that could go with her chosen venture to try and make money in Songereine, opening - or rather, commandeering - her own stall to design and create gothic fashion. An ability to create objects and give them form. However, this ability is limited in that she can only create small simple objects like pieces of fabric or parts she needs for her costumes, not realising when she is looking around for the right thing and it just so happens to have appeared.

The truth is her ability is tied to her ability or inability to do good for others. Even if she becomes aware of her ability, she can't conjure just anything she wants. She can only conjure an item if it would sincerely be for someone else or something she wishes to use to gift to them.

Suitability & Plans: I mainly joined at the urge of a friend, hoping we could all join as the members of IMP and explore what fun we could have playing with the characters and putting them out of their comfort zones into a new setting. I try to tip toes around information on character canon and not try to overextend what little information we have on Loona, but it is clear that below the exterior is someone who wants to be loved and maybe love in return. I just want to see how far that can go and maybe how many people Loona can tolerate or even possibly befriend when she's out of the environment she finds herself in Hell.
